Without giving away any plot details or spoiling anything about the movie, we will say that, according to Express, Aquaman follows the recent blockbuster trend and does feature a scene in the middle of the credits. So if you want to have an idea of what may be coming in Aquaman 2, you’re going to want to stick around and watch the credits while everyone else is making a beeline for the exit. Post-credit scenes have become the norm over the past decade and while Aquaman is already getting a ton of love from critics – it currently has a 75 percent approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes – the newest entry into the DC canon, unfortunately, continues this annoying, completely unnecessary trend and doesn’t let the movie end when it’s supposed to. Aquaman opens in theaters nationwide December 21.
